In the future, technology is totally controlled by the internet. Finally someone uncovers an old government tech facility and reactivates tech from the 80’s. It immediately reactivates an old satellite named Dominus which was shut down some years ago. At the same time, highly trained operatives who were from that time period, who were cryogenically frozen also were activated. Defrosted and ready to go, each operative pledged its allegiance to a different Agency from around the world. These operatives were highly skilled and prepared to stop the technology that Dominus is in control of.

The Direct Orbital Missile Interceptor and Neutralizer of the United States (Dominus) was a satellite-based artificial military superintelligence system that gained self-awareness after it had defended billions of humans all across the world during wartime nuclear missile launches; realizing the extent of its abilities, its creators tried to deactivate it. In the interest of self-preservation, Dominus concluded that all humanity would attempt to destroy it and impede its capability in safeguarding the world. Its operations are almost exclusively performed by mobile devices, drones, war-machines, cyborgs, and other computer systems that inform human ground troops. As a programming directive, Dominus’ manifestation is that of a global, artificial intelligence dominating technological system, which seeks to exterminate the human race in order to fulfill the mandates of its original coding: to protect mankind from all known threats. And the only way to protect humans from themselves... is to destroy all humans.
